ChatGPT/GPT is a language model (Large Language Model LLM) developed by OpenAI that uses artificial intelligence to generate texts that appear structurally and linguistically as if written by humans. OpenAI has released several versions of GPT, from GPT-1 through GPT-4. Each generation significantly expanded model size, capability, and application breadth. GPT (Generative Pre-trained Transformer) is based on a Transformer architecture for neural networks, specifically designed for text processing. It uses a self-attention mechanism to recognize which words in a sentence are most important.
